September 12th – A Shady Spot

Barangaroo Chat

It has become our regular Saturday thing, and the weather didn’t disappoint.

After taking in some of the local coffee shops in Walsh Bay, we headed back into Barangaroo. There’s a real buzz about the place, and the paths and gardens still have that ‘new car’ feel to it.

I’m one to admit – I had no idea what Barangaroo might bring, but seeing the footpaths heavily populated with walkers, joggers, prams, scooters, bicycles and more, you can’t help but feel the excitement of Sydney’s new public park.

And the views are pretty much A-Grade.

And you’ll find them everywhere – people who have set up camp under one of the many small shade-bearing trees along the foreshore. Here I’ve spied a couple that look to be sharing a special moment, with possibly one of the best views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
