Another morning walk with the macro still attached.
This time I’m using it differently – instead of getting as close as possible to the subject, I’m using the lens’ widest aperture (f2.8), which creates Depth of Field (DoF) and the background blur (or ‘bokeh’). Utilising DoF creates really lovely effect for your main subject, making it stand out.
The tree in question is a Peach tree (Prunus persica), with these lovely blossoms that grow on the branch. I shouldn’t be surprised it’s a peach tree, the garden in question grows all sorts of exotic fruit that hang over their fence.
