There were a few things on the move in the garden today, so I grabbed the macro and took a closer look.
When you’re chasing winged insects there isn’t much time to set up a tripod, so this is a handheld shot. It’s quite difficult to get the focus spot on, as even the slightest movement can take the subject right out of the focus.
I’m not sure what type of insect this is, possibly a Vinegar Fly but for all I know it could be a bee or a wasp.
