I would never condone fast or reckless driving. Unless of course the clothes are on the line, there’s a storm approaching and we’re on the opposite side of the city.
It’s hard to complain about humid weather when you live in Sydney in the months of February and March, and in most cases you only need to survive until the early hours of the afternoon for a refreshing change.
Or the preferred option, which is far more theatrical – the Southerly Buster.
But today there was no light show. As we neared home on our 40 minute drive, the skies darkened. With a little under 10 minutes from home, the wind started blowing. And as if mocked by fate, red lights and traffic were now working against us.
Alas, we came 2nd.
