There are times in life when we make the big decisions.
With the skies looking ominous and the raindrops starting to fall, and big ones at that, I had a tough choice to make – bring in the washing, or run and get the camera.
The storm itself was an impressive one. It wasn’t unexpected, and threw down a lot of water in a short space of time. This was the sort of late-November storm that Jacaranda owners hate, terrorising those small purple flowers, causing them to fall to the ground, creating a thick blanket of purply slippery mush.
I wasn’t initially a fan of the perspective of this photo, however with a crop and polish it turned out very nicely.
No washing was harmed in the capturing of this photo.
