November 18th – Petunia’s

Petunia

There are ways and there are ways of generating some great water droplet images in photography. My method was simple enough – water the garden.

In truth, and throughout this year of photography, I’m more inclined to photograph a scene that isn’t so manufactured. However reading some of the tutorials on manually adding water drops seems simple enough to do, and the outcomes are quite stunning.

These Petunia’s were chosen by my daughter, and planted in an attempt to add a touch of colour to the garden while encouraging some of those helpful insects to come and stay a while.

So far so good for this less-than-green thumb.
