One from the recent archives. This was taken as last Sunday was drawing to an end.
With the bulk of the family on the ferry, I headed off in the car with my mother-in-law. Noting they missed the early boat, we had time up our sleeves so we (well, I) decided to stop for a near-sunset view of the ANZAC Bridge.
It wasn’t until after taking a few shots of the bridge that I turned around and saw this view. The orange sky was aided by a burn-off in the far north-western fringes of the city.
