October 7th – One Man’s Trash

One mans trash

Is another’s optimistic project.

How often have you walked down the street and noticed a small collection of someone else’s tired effects and thought “Maybe……”

Yeah, me too.

Somewhat reminiscent of a Mr Squiggle drawing, the above picture of old and tangled effects represents so much opportunity. It’s our job to make it resemble something useful.

Personally I blame Better Homes and Gardens. A rusty bicycle wheel rim? Hang it on the fence as some sort of random rustic ornament, or perhaps use it as a water-wheel? The Old seats …. perhaps an arty pot-plant holder (work with me here … remove the seat, insert odd-shaped tub).

Optimistic is right. I’d better just leave it where it is for now.
