September 14th – Blender Gallery

In a small cosy street in Paddington lies a small cosy gallery called the Blender Gallery. The mural on the wall is a not-so-subtle hint as to what lies behind.

Unfortunately the gallery was closed today, but what you can see from the street is appetising.

Blender Gallery specialises in Fine Art Music Photography and Limited Edition Rock n Roll Prints. Created in 2001, the gallery has shown the work of many official band photographers, including Philip Morris (AC/DC), Henry Diltz (The Doors, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Neil Young, official Woodstock photographer), and Janette Beckman (Run DMC, Deborah Harry, LL Cool J).

In fact the Photographers page is a who’s who in rock’n’roll ….. photography.

The current exhibition is no less poignant, showing the works of Merri Cyr – Jeff Buckley’s photographer. Titled “20 Years of Grace“, it is being shown on the 20th anniversary of Buckley’s only studio album “Grace”.

Blender is also home to this “different” garden gnome.
