A light appetiser is the perfect way to get any meal started, and if you ask me simplicity has its rewards.
This was of course the first part of a lengthy antipasto, as empty plates were exchanged with new delights over the next 20 or so minutes.
The location was Via Napoli in Lane Cove, a classic Italian meal with pizza, seafood and cured meats, with classic Italian waiters – welcoming, exuberant, loud and appreciative.
Technically still Macro Monday, as I spent the day touring with the 100mm macro lens attached, but instead of getting down on my hands and knees I once again went for some practice with ‘depth of field’ effects.
And for some, it was their first exposure to a Nutella pizza. All smiles there.
