April 11th – A date remembered

A little time-out, as my wife and I took a moment out to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary. We managed to sneak out after our evening formalities for a cheeky supper at a nearby restaurant.

We’ve become accustomed to the notion that certain milestone anniversaries attract different materials as gift ideas, this year the milestone is traditionally celebrated with tin (or aluminium).

The belief behind this is the symbolism of a strong, yet malleable or pliable relationship without being broken.

For those looking for something else to attach to, there’s always Daffodils, or crystal being the gemstone equivalent.

But a moments peace, pizza, wine and dessert fits the bill nicely too.
